ideal location varied choices
the location proved ideal for exploring the gothic quarter. the breakfast had a rich buffet with varied choices between sweet and savory options.
I noticed that the walls seemed thin. I could overhear some conversations from adjacent rooms.

fresh fruit good closet
The breakfast buffet offered many choices. Fresh fruit was ALWAYS available, which i appreciated. The room included a modern television. It also had good closet space (a must when traveling with my darling!).
The elevator was sometimes a little slow during peak hours. IT was not a big issue though.

The breakfast buffet had a fantastic selection. the location was unbeatable. It allowed very easy access to many attractions. the metro station nearby made getting around very easy too.
our room was quite small. this impacted our comfort a little. additionally, the street noise at night was loud. this made it difficult to sleep sometimes.

excellent stay
helpful staff great lobby superb location early check
The staff helped me a lot, including those who spoke english. i found a great lobby ideal for reading. the location was superb. I walked to nearby restaurants, shops, and various activities. i was also allowed an early check in, fantastic.
i noticed some stairs after the elevator to my floor, difficult with heavy luggage.

the buffet breakfast included many options and tasted amazing!!! it had a wide variety of fresh fruits, pastries, and hot dishes, so i started my day very well every morning.

the hotel is right in the heart of the gothic quarter. it's very close to good restaurants and la rambla shopping and markets, which i explored with ease .

the staff were friendly and helpful . they provided excellent recommendations and secured a room to leave my luggage in on my last day, and i appreciated their support.

the hotel is very clean and beautifully decorated. i found the lobby particularly inviting for reading and relaxing. there was also a secure area for luggage storage.

my superior double room was spacious. the air conditioning worked perfectly, which helped deal with the humid nights. the bathroom was a fantastic size, and i had enough space for my luggage.

small room poor sound isolation
I was disappointed to find a few things lacking. the room felt quite small for what i expected (maybe i built it up too much in my head). also, the sound isolation was not great. I could hear street noise quite clearly throughout the night. it made it a bit difficult to fall asleep sometimes.
